Canadian singer Morna Anne Murray is now retired. Over the course of her more than 40-year career, her CDs, which mainly feature pop, country, and adult contemporary music, have sold over 55 million copies globally. Murray was the first Canadian woman to chart at No. 1 in the United States and the first to receive a Gold record for "Snowbird," one of her signature songs (1970). Murray is also well known for her 1978 US No. 1 single, "You Needed Me," for which she received a Grammy Award.
