An accomplished British musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer, Sir Barry Alan Crompton Gibb is an AC and CBE. As a member of the Bee Gees, one of the most commercially successful bands in the annals of popular music, he achieved international renown. He established a songwriting partnership with his younger brothers, fraternal twins Robin and Maurice Gibb, in 1955. He has lived in Britain, Australia, and the US, with the latter being his country of citizenship since 2009.
