Bebe is the stage name of Mara Nieves Rebolledo Vila, a Spanish singer, composer, and actress who first gained international recognition for the songs "Malo" and "Ella." Mara Nieves Rebolledo Vila was born in Valencia, Spain, but she relocated to Extremadura fairly quickly and lived there for the duration of her youth. Her parents belonged to the Surberina cultural group from Extremadur. Pafuera Telara was the name of her debut album in Spain, even though she rose to prominence internationally after taking home the Best New Artist prize at the 2005 Latin Grammys. She received a total of five award nominations. The theme song for the Argentine television series Mujeres Asesinas is "Malo," the first single from Pafuera Telaraas that reached the top of the international charts.
