The drummer and one of the singers of the punk rock band Die rzte, Dirk Albert Felsenheimer, better known by his stage name Bela B, is a German musician, composer, actor, and novelist. He released Bingo, his debut solo album, in 2006. He has performed numerous voiceovers for television and cinema while simultaneously being an actor. Before co-founding Die rzte in 1982 with singer/guitarist Farin Urlaub and bassist Hans Runge, Bela B originally performed in the short-lived Soilent Grün. The group soon had an appearance on the compilation 20 Überschäumende Stimmungshits, and after taking first place in an amateur band competition, they used their prize money to release their 1983 debut EP, Uns geht's prima. In 1984, the band's debut album, Debil, was released by Columbia Records thanks to a record deal they had secured.
