Daniel Lindström

Swedish singer Daniel Lindström, who defeated Darin Zanyar to win the 2004 Swedish Idol competition, is from Ume. The self-titled album he released in December 2004 topped the Swedish pop charts, and his debut single, "Coming True," achieved double platinum sales. The singer wrote the Swedish songs on his second album, Nn slags verklighet (Some kind of reality). D-Day, his third album, was made available in January 2009.  He spent some time in Sweden's Solna with his wife and child.
