David Foster

Canadian musician, songwriter, arranger, record producer, and music industry executive David Walter Foster served as Verve Records' chairman from 2012 until 2016. Out of 47 nominations, he has 16 Grammy Awards to his name. His more than five-decade career in the music business mostly began as the keyboardist for the pop band Skylark in the early 1970s. Foster played keyboards for the pop band Skylark, which Eirik Wangberg discovered. In 1973, the band's song "Wildflower" peaked at number 10. After the band split up, Foster stayed in Los Angeles and started the band Airplay with Jay Graydon. In 1975
