Eko Fresh

German rapper Eko Fresh, also known by his stage name Eko Fresh, is of Turkish and Kurdish ancestry. With his song "Die Abrechnung" from 2004, Eko Fresh sparked a conflict between himself and his former mentors Kool Savas, Optik Records, Bushido, and Aggro Berlin. The song, which is a diss track against a number of other rappers, including his old mentor Kool Savas, was released on December 23, 2004, on Juice CD # 49. He started the conflict with the track billing in which he denounced Savas and Optik Records. According to the statement, Savas is repressing his labelmates, and MOR, Savas' previous gang, would have split up as a result.
