Flume is the stage name of Australian DJ and music producer Harley Edward Streten. He is regarded as a future bass pioneer who contributed to the genre's ubiquity. Flume, his self-titled debut studio album, received favorable reviews upon release in 2012, topping the ARIA Albums Chart, and earning double-platinum status in Australia. Lorde, Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Hermitude, and Disclosure are just a few of the musicians whose tracks Flume has remixed. Skin, his second studio album, debuted at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart upon release in 2016. At the 2017 Grammy Awards, the album took home the Best Dance/Electronic Album trophy. The first song from the album, "Never Be like You," which was nominated for Best Dance Recording, helped the record acquire notice on a global scale.
