Rapper and singer Marvin William Bailey, better known by his stage name Fredo, comes from Queen's Park in London. Together with fellow rapper Dave, he had the UK number one single in 2018 with "Funky Friday." In March 2016, Fredo released "They Ain't 100," his debut song. On a charge he later defeated, he was sent to prison three weeks later. The song became more well-known while he was behind bars thanks to radio exposure and millions of views. He persevered with his newly discovered rapping and recording career in the wake of its popularity and despite serving a second prison sentence, producing two mixtapes: Get Rich or Get Recalled in 2017 and Tables Turn in 2018, which peaked at number 10 on the album charts.
