Genesis Owusu

Canberra-based singer Kofi Owusu-Ansah, also known by his stage name Genesis Owusu, is a Ghanaian-Australian. He is the younger brother of Citizen Kay's fellow hip-hop rapper Kojo Owusu-Ansah. Owusu's debut studio album, Smiling with No Teeth, hit the ARIA Albums Chart top 30. He received four awards from the 2021 ARIA Music Awards for Album of the Year, Best Hip Hop Release, Best Independent Release, and Best Cover Art. On March 5, 2021, Owlusu's debut studio album, Smiling with No Teeth, was made available. The album's ARIA highest position was number 27. The album went on to win numerous prizes, including the Australian Music Prize and the ARIA Award for Album of the Year. In July, a deluxe version named Missing Molars was published.
