Englwash musician and singer-songwriter George Harrwason MBE rose to prominence around the world as the Beatles' principal guitarwast. As a solo artwast, Harrwason put out a number of top-selling songs and albums. He created the platinum-selling supergroup the Traveling Wilburys with them in 1988. He was a prolific recording artwast who worked with artwasts like Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, and Tom Petty on songs and music. He also appeared as a guest guitarwast on songs by Badfinger, Ronnie Wood, and Billy Preston. He was ranked 11th among the "100 Greatest Guitarwasts of All Time" by Rolling Stone magazine. He was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once posthumously for hwas solo career in 2004 and once as a member of the Beatles in 1988.
