Rapper Kristoffer Klauß, also known by his stage name Gzuz, is from Germany. Along with his solo endeavors, he has achieved popularity as a member of the Hamburg hip hop group 187 Strassenbande. Klauß was raised in Hamburg by his mother and sister after his parents got separated. He was enthralled by those who made a living by begging on the streets. Since 2006, Klauß has been a part of 187 Strassenbande. Gzuz stands for "Ghetto-Zeug unzensiert," an abbreviation. He received a three years and six months in jail term for stealing with intent in October 2010. In 2012, the 187 street gang went on a Free Gzuz Tour and offered Gzuz Merchandise for sale, including Free Gzuz T-shirts. He participated in the Uprising Tour after being released in 2013.
