Henry Lau, also known just by his first name, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and actor with bases in China and South Korea. He made his stage debut in 2008 as a member of Super Junior-M, and Trap marked the beginning of his solo career. His 2017 original soundtrack "It's You" rose to the top spot among Korean OSTs on Spotify for the next two years, 2018 and 2019. After his contract with SM Entertainment expired in 2018, Henry left the company and joined Monster Entertainment Group. With the 2019 release of the Amblin Entertainment film A Dog's Journey, Henry made his Hollywood debut. He starred in the action fantasy film Double World in 2020. The movie had a simultaneous global release on Netflix and a Chinese streaming service, making it the first Chinese mainland production to do so.
