Imposs is the stage name of Stanley Rimsky Salgado, a Quebec-based rapper of Haitian and Canadian descent. He was a member of Muzion, one of Quebec's most renowned hip hop acts, before going solo. He frequently worked with Wyclef Jean both as a member of Muzion and as a solo performer. He is also well recognized for giving Montreal the moniker "Real City." He has a Sony contract. Imposs began his solo career with the release of the album Mon Poing D'Vue on K'Maro's record company K-Pone Inc. The album received media attention in Quebec, including an interview at TQS. He participated at "Festival d'Eté du Quebec," which referred to him as "the most prominent and generally respected performer on the Quebec hip hop scene." "Faut qu'j'men aille," his debut single and music video, was released in 2007.
