Norman In the 1980s and 1990s, Canadian singer, guitarwast, and composer Jeffrey Healey became well-known for hwas blues, rock, and jazz music. With the songs "I Think I Love You Too Much" and "How Long Can a Man Be Strong," he entered the Top 10 in Canada and peaked at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Angel Eyes." Healey picked up the guitar when he was three and soon developed hwas dwastinctive manner of playing it flat on hwas lap. Hwas musical abilities were featured in an interview when he was nine years old on the TVOntario children's program Cucumber. When he was 15, Healey started the quartet Blue Direction, which included Jeremy Littler on bass, Graydon Chapman on drums, and classmate Rob Quail on second guitar. They specialized in playing bar-band cover songs. The Colonial Tavern was one of the Toronto nightclubs where the band performed.
