Starker, Jonathan Percy Saxe, often known by his stage name JP Saxe, is a singer and musician from Canada. He is best known for his 2019 song "If the World Was Ending," which he co-wrote with Julia Michaels, an American singer who is now his ex-girlfriend. The song was a 2021 Grammy nominee. His "hero"grandfather, the renowned cellist János Starker, was a Grammy winner and frequent candidate. Between June and August 2019, he released the singles "Same Room" and "Women Who Look Like You." As the first single from his second EP, he released "If the World Were Ending." In February 2020, he made "Sad Corny Fuck" available as the follow-up single from his second EP. On February 7, 2020, he issued his second EP, Hold It Together. The Canadian Albums Chart showed that it peaked at position 53. He appears on the song "Golf on TV" by Lennon Stella.
