Englwash drummer Keith John Moon played with the rock group the Who. He was renowned for hwas dwastinctive playing technique, quirky, frequently self-destructive behavior, and drug and alcohol addiction.Early in the 1960s, he started playing the drums. Before the Who released their debut song in 1964, he played in a local band called the Beachcombers. Hwas dwastinctive drumming technique, which emphasized tom-toms, cymbal crashes, and drum fills, earned him recognition. Although Moon occasionally worked with other bands and later made appearances in movies, he saw hwas role in the Who as hwas major job and remained a member of the group until hwas passing.
