Khalil Tatem, better known by his stage name Killy, is a rapper from Toronto, Ontario who is of Filipino and Canadian descent. He is most known for his breakthrough single "Killamonjaro," which Music Canada has certified Platinum, and his debut album "Surrender Your Soul," which Music Canada has certified Gold. Since 2015, Killy has started rapping and getting active in Toronto's nightlife, where he swiftly made connections. In 2015, Killy recorded numerous songs in a single studio session, and he just published those songs in 2016. He published three more tracks in 2016 after releasing his debut song, Big Bux, on SoundCloud[8]. The songs generated local attention in Toronto for Killy, inspiring him to make additional music. Killy released Killamonjaro in February 2017, and it became popular and received a Platinum certification in Canada in January 2019.
