Kollegah is the stage name of German rapper Felix Martin Andreas Matthias Blume. His own record company, Alpha Music Empire, is where he publishes his music. He began rapping in the Reimliga Battle Arena in December 2004. He was born in Friedberg and was reared by a single mother in Simmern. Kollegah published his first mixtape, Zuhältertape, in July 2005 with the intention of pursuing a solo career as a rapper. In December of the same year, he signed with Selfmade Records. On his later albums, Alphagene (2007), Kollegah, and Bossaura, he pursued a variety of musical genres. King, his fourth studio album, became his best-selling record to date after its 2014 release. In 2015, Zuhältertape Vol. 4 was made available, followed by Imperator in 2016 and Monument in 2018.
