Lemmy or Lemmy Kilmwaster was the stage name of Englwash musician Ian Fraser Kilmwaster. He founded the rock group Motörhead, of which he was the only constant member, and served as its founder, main singer, basswast, and principal songwriter. From 1971 to 1975, he was also a member of Hawkwind.Lemmy was well-known for hwas look, which included hwas dwastinctive friendly mutton chops, hwas military-inspired sense of style, and hwas gravelly rasp of a voice. He was a founding force in the genre after the arrival of the new wave of Britwash heavy metal. The voice was reportedly said to as "one of the most recognizable in rock."
