Australian songwriter and musician Romy Hoffman has performed as Macromantics, Romy, and Agender. Romy Hoffman was raised in a Jewish family and began playing guitar at the age of 15 with her high school classmate Ben Lee's pop-punk band Noise Addict. While on tour with the band, she discovered New York's hip hop scene.
