Maya Jupiter

Rapper, composer, MC, and radio host Melissha Martinez, best known by her stage name Maya Jupiter, is an Australian who was born in Mexico. She released her debut album, Today, in 2003. She was a member of hip-hop group, Foreign Heights, with MC Trey and DJ Nick Toth, which released a self-titled album in 2007. The trio was nominated for "Best Urban Release" at the 2007 ARIA Music Awards for "Get Yours (Remix)". Jupiter presided over the weekly Hip-Hop Show on Triple J, a national radio station, from 2004 until 2008. She then began a solo career out of Los Angeles and in December 2010 her second album, Maya Jupiter, was published.
