Mick Thomas

Australian singer-songwriter, producer, musician, and hotelier Michael James Thomas also plays guitar. Mick Thomas and the Sure Thing was led by Thomas, who was also the founding member and stalwart of the folk rock band Weddings Parties Anything (1984–1998). He also has solo music that has been released. Over in the West, a country rock opera written by Mick Thomas, was staged at the Playbox Theatre. The next year saw the publication of the cast album. Thomas played the character of Mr. Robert, the leader of a pub rock band, in the 1999 Maverick Arts Festival production of Over in the West.
