Mohombi

A musician, singer, composer, and dancer of Swedish and Congolese descent, Mohombi Nzasi Moupondo. He was raised in the Stockholm suburbs of Kista and Norsborg. RedOne's first artist to be signed to 2101 Records under a joint venture with Universal Music Group was Mohombi. Mohombi and his brother Djo Moupondo were members of the Swedish hip hop group Avalon from 2000 to 2008. In August 2010, Mohombi released his first single as a solo artist, "Bumpy Ride." His first studio album, MoveMeant, was released in February 2011 and was immediately followed by the international smash single, which peaked in the top ten in multiple nations.
