Monie Love

A British rapper, actor, and radio host from London under the stage name Monie Love, Simone Johnson or Simone Gooden is also known by her real name Simone Johnson. Monie Love, best known for her recordings from the late 1980s through the early 1990s, is a radio host for Atlanta, Georgia's urban adult contemporary station KISS 104.1 WALR-FM. Love is the first British female hip hop artist to hold the distinction of being a two-time Grammy Award nominee.
