Rapper Morad, real name Morad El Khattouti El Horami, is from Spain. With "Pelele" in 2022 and "Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 47" in 2021, he topped the PROMUSICAE singles charts. He had some of his early years spent at a children's home. At the age of 14, he started rapping on WhatsApp with his buddies. Morad popularized the French street kid drill musicians' abbreviation "MDLR" (Mec de la rue) in Spain. His MDLR and MDLR 2.0 extended plays were released in 2019 and 2020, respectively. On "Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 47," which peaked at the top of the PROMUSICAE singles chart for two weeks in late December 2021, Morad worked with Argentine producer Bizarrap. The following month, his song "Pelele" topped the same chart.
