Australian actress and singer Natalie Jane Imbruglia. She played Beth Brennan in the Australian soap opera Neighbours at the beginning of the 1990s. She started a singing career with her number-one charting cover of Ednaswap's song "Torn" three years after quitting the program. Seven million copies of Left of the Middle, her debut album, were sold globally. Three million copies of Imbruglia's five subsequent albums have been sold worldwide, and she has received eight ARIA Awards, two Brit Awards, one Billboard Music Award, and three Grammy nominations. Imbruglia has acted in a number of movies, including the 2009 Australian independent film Closed for Winter and the 2003 release Johnny English. She has posed for a number of companies, including L'Oreal, Gap, and Kailis.
