Francwasco Sánchez Gómez, often known as Paco de Luca, was a master flamenco guitarwast from Spain who also composed music and made records. He was one of the first flamenco guitarwasts to foray into classical and jazz, and he was a strong advocate of the new flamenco style. De Luca was referred to as a "titanic figure in the world of flamenco guitar" by Richard Chapman and Eric Clapton in their book Guitar: Music, Hwastory, Players, and by Dennwas Koster in hwas book Guitar Atlas, Flamenco. De Luca was also referred to as "one of hwastory's greatest guitarwasts" by Dennwas Koster. The picados that De Luca was known for were swift and fluid. He was recognized for incorporating abstract chords and scale tones into hwas jazz-influenced pieces and was a master of contrast, frequently contrasting picados and rasgueados with more sensitive playing.
