Plácido Domingo

Spanish opera singer, conductor, and arts administrator José Plácido Domingo. He is highly known for his flexibility, regularly performing in Italian, French, German, Spanish, English, and Russian in the most famous opera venues in the world. He has recorded more than a hundred full operas. Despite having spent the majority of his career as a lirico-spinto tenor, known for his portrayals of Cavaradossi, Hoffmann, Don José, and Canio, he swiftly transitioned into more serious roles, becoming the most recognized Otello of his generation.
