Preme, the stage name of Raynford Avery Humphrey, is a Canadian rapper, singer, composer, and record producer. RCA Records and The Blueprint Group formerly had contracts with him. He presently has a distribution deal with Empire Distribution, along with a record deal with Columbia Records and a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing under his own record label, Reps Ups Entertainment. Preme, also referred to as The King, the King of Da North, debuted as a solo artist in 2008 with the release of "You Know I'm Fly," which peaked at number one on the PunchMuch Canadian interactive music channel. Money in My Pocket (2009) and "In My Hood," both of which were created by T-Minus, are his subsequent singles. Because of his premature birth, he is known by the name Preme.
