Sir Richard Starkey, better known as Ringo Starr, is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to prominence around the world as the Beatles' drummer. Yellow Submarine and "With a Little Help from My Friends" are two songs on each album where Starr occasionally took lead vocals with the band. In addition, he co-wrote four other Beatles songs, including "Don't Pass Me By" and "Octopus' Garden," and he also sang on those songs.
