Singer-songwriter Sarah Ann McLachlan, is from Canada. She had sold more than 40 million albums globally as of 2015. Surfacing, for which McLachlan has received four Juno Awards and two Grammy Awards, is her best-selling album to date. Along with her own artistic endeavors, she started the Lilith Fair tour to promote female performers. She started playing the ukulele when she was four years old and began playing music at a very young age. She pursued The Royal Conservatory of Music's program at the Maritime Conservatory of Music, where she studied voice, classical guitar, and piano.
