Rapper, singer, and record producer Karl Amani Wailoo, best known by his stage name Saukrates, hails from Canada. He is the lead singer of the hip-hop/R&B group Big Black Lincoln and a co-founder of Capitol Hill Music. He belongs to Redman's Gilla House group as well. His debut song, "Still Caught Up," released in 1994, was nominated for a 1996 Juno Award for Best Rap Recording. In 2000, for "Money or Love," he was also a finalist for the same Juno award. For Redman's Malpractice album in 2001, Saukrates produced the song "Uh-Huh" and also made an appearance on the song "Enjoy Da Ride." He also contributed a song titled "Fine Line" to Method Man and Redman's How High soundtrack.
