Sting

Gordon An English musician and actor by the name of Sting is Matthew Thomas Sumner CBE. From 1977 until the band's dissolution in 1986, he served as the frontman, songwriter, and bassist for the new wave rock group the Police. He began his solo career in 1985, and since then, his music has incorporated elements of rock, jazz, reggae, classical, new-age, and worldbeat.
