German rapper and actress Veysel Gelin has Kurdish ancestry. He started his own platform, Bela Boyz, in 2017 after releasing his debut records through Haftbefehl's label, Azzlackz. With the television series 4 Blocks, he also acknowledged acting achievements. The rapper Haftbefehl signed him to his label Azzlackz shortly before his detention after hearing the song Lieben und Hassen. Under the first name Veysel, he made guest appearances in the company's magazines while he was incarcerated. Following his release from prison, Veysel started working on his debut mixtape, 43 Therapy, which was published in May 2013 and peaked at number 23 in the German album charts.
