According to a report published on Monday, December 12 by WSB-TV in Atlanta, the jailed rapper has been hit with three new charges. Thug, real name Jeffrey Williams, is facing new charges such as street racing, reckless driving, and speeding. All three are misdemeanors.
Williams has been charged three times since his arrest in May on suspicion of breaking the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). Soon after his arrest, authorities accused the founder of YSL of committing seven felonies, including possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, and possession of a sawed-off shotgun, sawed-off rifle, machine gun, dangerous weapon, or silencer.
Then, in August, Williams and four other members of his YSL crew were charged separately by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office. They increased the number of drug charges, the number of gang charges, the number of gun charges, and the number of machine gun charges.
