Beyoncé tied her husband Jay-Z for the most career Grammy nominations on Tuesday.
The rapper led the list of all-time Grammy nominations with 83 as of Tuesday, followed by Sir Paul McCartney with 81, Quincy Jones with 80, and Beyoncé with 79.
After the nominations were announced, Beyoncé added nine to her tally, including album of the year for "Renaissance," record of the year, and song of the year for "Break My Soul."
Her work also contributed to her husband receiving more nominations, as he received five more, including one for co-writing "Break My Soul."
The superstar also made her first-ever entries in a few categories, with "Break My Soul" and "Renaissance" each helping her secure a nomination for best dance/electronic recording and best dance/electronic music album.
Beyoncé is the most-awarded female artist in Grammys history with 28 victories to date. She would surpass conductor Sir Georg Solti, who has won 31, if she were to take home four of the nine awards for which she is nominated.
