Comments made by the Wizards of Waverly Place star about Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have gone viral.

David DeLuise from Wizards of Waverly Place recently gained notoriety for a statement he made regarding Mitchie Torres' Camp Rock character. Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato's BFF and the former co-star of Barney, almost had the part of Mitchie. Of course, Demi Lovato gained fame on the Disney Channel after playing the lead in the DCOM, where she dominated as Mitchie.

Disney super fans will be aware that Selena was offered the part and declined it, but WOWP dad is explaining why she actually declined. see more inside David revealed that his TV daughter turned down the role so that Demi could have it in a recently surfaced 2020 interview with Wildchat Sports.

I've never really told this story, but when they offered Selena the role in Camp Rock, she knew that Demi would win the role because it was a Disney film about a young person attending a singing festival in the summer.

They were friends, so she declined it, which was very kind of her to do. They appeared together on the Barney TV show.
