Rick Ross Offered Don Lemon a Job at Wingstop After CNN Firing

A twitter user share a video of Rick Ross attempting to assist Don Lemon in getting back to work after he was dismissed from CNN, but it may not be the opportunity the legendary news man was hoping for.

"I just discovered that Don Lemon was let go from CNN. "Damn, dawg," the MMG mogul remarked in an Instagram Story video. "However, guess what? Your brothers have your back.

"Wingstop is hiring." And, for some reason, I believe you know what you're doing with the lemon pepper wings, so send over your résumé... I'll get you in front of the right grill, brother. "Stay strong, brother."

Don Lemon abruptly left CNN in a tweet on Monday afternoon, expressing surprise and regret at the network's decision to terminate his contract. He also alleged that "larger issues" were at work in his dismissal.

"I was informed by my agent this morning that I have been terminated by CNN," he wrote. "I'm taken aback. I would have thought that after 17 years at CNN, someone in management would have had the decency to notify me directly.

CNN acknowledged in a statement that they have parted company with the longtime anchor. "Don will be forever a part of the CNN family, and we thank him for his contributions over the past 17 years," they stated. "We wish him well and will be cheering him on in his future endeavors."
