Rosalia Reveals Why She Decided to Remix Despechá With Cardi B

I've always wanted to collaborate with Cardi B on music. And she knows I appreciate her music, and she is always supportive of me too said Rosalia.

Rosalía recently released the remix of "Despechá" featuring Cardi B a song released in sometime in July 2022. She shared on New Music Daily on Apple Music why the Dominican descent rapper is the best person to team up with for the remix of Despechá.

"This song is inspired by Mambo and Dominican music. And she's Dominican, so who else is going to understand this better than her?" said Rosalía.

"So I thought it made perfect sense. And she also loves the song. So I really love how she sounds when she raps; it sounds urgent. So when she's singing it, it sounds fresh."
