On October 29, Jack Harlow will perform two roles on Saturday Night Live.
The rapper from Louisville, Kentucky, will perform on the venerable sketch show as well as host it.
In March of last year, Harlow made a previous musical guest appearance on the program. He attributes his inclusion to former Saturday Night Live performer Pete Davidson.
In an essay praising Davidson for making Time's "100 most influential people of 2022," Harlow said, "After a few months of knowing each other (but never meeting), Pete successfully pushed to get me on 'SNL,' which was a genuine dream come true for me and my family." "I got to bring them on set and grew up watching the show with them. My mother was sobbing.
He continued, "I went over to Pete's apartment the night before the show, and he made my friend and I laugh until our stomachs hurt. I had the impression that I was having an up-close experience with elite comedy.
